'ElectricityComesFromAnother Planet.com '
project proposal by Angelo Plessas for Rhizome, march 20th, 2008

I want to make a piece that is inspired by the movie Tron. I want to make a neon landscape, like a childish drawing, where two figures play with a ball. The ball is the sun, the figures are just two perspective lines. I want this to be romantic but in an abstact way, to be lonely, technological and a bit hypnotic, like time stands still a little bit. The piece will be interactive, will have sound, and it will be an animated drawing on a domain name. The domain will be the title, I have registered ElectricityComesFromAnotherPlanet.com

In my work I create simple interactive animated drawings that exist on the internet in the own address that works as their tittle too. Their themes involve femminity and strange portraits that become subtly personal.
